Every used bike we sell goes through our shop in Westfield, Indiana before it's listed. We inspect it, service it and ride it, so the bike you get is ready to ride.
What goes into every JEM CPO bike
A bike only earns the JEM CPO badge after it goes through every step below.
Frame & fork inspection
We go over the carbon or alloy frame and fork for cracks, damage and wear, and check the headset and bottom bracket.
Wheels inspected
We inspect the wheels, spokes and hub bearings so they roll straight, smooth and quiet.
Drivetrain serviced
Shifting is adjusted and dialed in, and the chain and cables are checked for wear, so every gear shifts crisp.
Brakes serviced
Brakes are adjusted or bled, and worn pads get replaced, so the bike stops the way it should.
Electronics checked
On Di2 and AXS bikes we update the firmware, check the batteries and make sure every shift and connection works.
Test ridden
Every bike gets a test ride before it's listed. If anything doesn't feel right, it goes back on the stand.
